What type of paper or canvas do you use for printing?

Imagekind strives to provide a superior quality product. To this end, we produce each work of art using a premium paper or canvas.

Premium Fine Art Paper

This bright, white paper is perfect for images that do not require gloss. It yields highly saturated images, while maintaining excellent highlight and shadow detail. Its instant drying and non-cockling characteristics make use, handling, and display of the finished output trouble-free. Premium Fine Art Canvas

Our Premium Fine Art Canvas is made from a durable blend of 65% polyester and 35% cotton. Premium Fine Art Canvas is a heavyweight, quality canvas utilizing a tight weave that is ideal for photographic, fine art, and everyday printing alike. It offers a high resolution coating that is pliable enough to withstand stretching over bars, and displays a subtle texture for a true artistic appearance and feel. What is a Giclée Print?

A Giclée print is a high quality museum grade reproduction that provides better color accuracy than any other printing method. Created using high resolution digital scans of images, premium inks are then sprayed on a variety of substrates (i.e. high quality paper, canvas and photographic paper.) The resulting image has a continuous tone with no noticeable dot pattern.

What is Museum Wrap?

Museum Wraps are a standard way to present art on canvas. Only a small amount of the art folds over the edge and the sides are left white, maximizing the image presentation for framing. Museum Wraps look best when paired with a standard or float frame.

What are the Frames made of?

Our frames are made of wood, metal and wood composite materials. Some have elaborate hand finishes, embossed textures and even metal leafing. The large variety of materials, colors and styles guarantees that you will find just the right selection to complement every framing design.

Ordering Products

How do I place an order?

After you have selected a print, frame, and mat selection you would like to purchase just click on the Add to Shopping Cart button. You can finish the ordering process by clicking on the “I’m Ready to Checkout” link, or you may continue shopping by clicking on the “I’ll Keep Shopping” link. You may return to your shopping cart at anytime to checkout by clicking on Cart in the upper right hand corner of the header. During the checkout process you can modify a selection at any time by clicking on the Cart tab and clicking on the item you would like to change.

Can I pay by phone?

Yes. You can call us at our toll free number, (888) 264-1446, Monday through Friday, 6:00am – 5:00pm, Pacific Standard Time, and we will take your order over the phone.

Can I save items in my Shopping Cart and purchase them later?

Not yet. Items placed in the shopping cart and not purchased will not be available for purchase on your next visit.

What payment methods are accepted by Imagekind?

We accept Visa, MasterCard, and American Express. All prices are in US dollars.

Is there sales tax on my order?

Imagekind is located in Seattle, Washington and we only charge 8.8% sales tax on orders shipping within Washington State.

Is online ordering safe?

Your credit card transactions are 100% safe. We use Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) which encrypts your credit card information. We always use the industry standard encryption technologies when transferring and receiving data exchanged with our site.

Will I receive an order confirmation after I have placed my order?

Once you have completed your order by clicking on Place Your Order, we will send you a confirmation email. To track your package, click on the link in your confirmation email. You will then be asked to enter your email address as an authentication of your purchase. Once you have entered the email address you will be shown the Tracking Information for your shipment.

What is the Imagekind Guarantee Policy?

We want you to be completely satisfied with your Imagekind purchase. If for any reason you are not satisfied with your purchase, you may return your item any time and we will refund your money or give you Imagekind credit for your purchase.

Shipping and Returns

How will my item be shipped?

All items are carefully packaged in boxes designed to protect your frame and print while in transit from our facilities to your home. Imagekind will ship your art via Fed Ex Ground Shipping. All Prices on the site include Shipping.

How long will it take for my order to be delivered?

Delivery time equals processing time plus shipping time. We generally require 2-3 business days to process your order. Ground Shipping within the US should take between 5-7 business days.

Can you ship to a PO Box?

Not at this time. We require a physical street address.

How do I know my item has shipped?

When your item(s) is ready for shipping we will immediately notify you by email and include order number, final costs, and estimated date of delivery.

What if my item is damaged when it arrives?

If your item arrives damaged, we will ship you a replacement at no additional cost. To return your damaged item, please pack it in the original packaging and include the completed Return Form. Please call us at (888) 264-1446 and we will ship you a replacement.

Returns

We are confident in the quality of our products and your satisfaction is 100% guaranteed. If for any reason you are not satisfied with your purchase, you may return it at any time for a full refund. To return your item, please pack it in the original packaging and include the completed Return Form. We will not refund shipping charges.
